East Austin Studio Tour 2019!

This will be my 9th consecutive year to participate in E.A.S.T. either officially (in the book and on the map) or unofficially (popping up at an official location but not on the map myself). Even though Clementine & Co. and I are now residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the draw of the Studio Tour is just too strong to stay away!! This year I am honored to be the guest of my dear friend, sometime collaborator, teacher, and fellow jeweler, Christopher Taylor Timberlake. His studio is on Cesar Chavez St., sandwiched nicely between Juan in a Million and Soma Vida. We've been planning some fun demo's for you involving lots of fire, molten metal, hammering and stone cutting that you won't want to miss!
And that's not all! I've got another really special collaboration in the works for the overlapping lovers of tea and handmade jewelry- So Han Fan of West China Tea Company will be joining me for a special tea service the first weekend of East where participants will be able to choose a whole tea leaf from the pot they are served from to be transformed, by me, into a solid silver Tea Leaf Necklace! For those following my work already, you know that I released a new collection earlier this summer ~ the Mesa collection ~ which is wholly inspired by the landscape of the desert, and I now get to share it with my Texas people!
